What you will be doing

Your role in shaping the KOIA experience

 

As a Groom/Bellboy, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional service throughout their stay. You will assist with luggage, transportation, and guest requests while upholding KOIA’s high standards of service and hospitality.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor, manage an efficient check-in process and provide comprehensive information about the hotel, its amenities, and local attractions.
  • Anticipate and address guest needs throughout their stay, providing personalized assistance with luggage, room requests, and inquiries while offering tailored recommendations for local dining and activities.
  • Monitor and enhance guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly, following up post-check-in, and ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
  • Handle guest requests for room upgrades, special amenities, or early check-ins/late check-outs when available.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including Housekeeping and Maintenance, to resolve guest requests or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Handle guest complaints with professionalism and tact, resolving issues swiftly and recording incidents for continuous improvement.
  • Gather and share feedback with management to enhance services, contributing innovative ideas to elevate the guest experience.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including maintaining guest records and preparing reports.
  • Assist with check-out procedures, including issuing invoices, processing payments, and updating guest accounts.

We are looking for a passionate hospitality professional with exceptional guest service skills and a strong sense of responsibility. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role at a 5-star hotel.
  • A valid European driving license.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Greek (additional languages are a plus).
  • A professional attitude, well-groomed appearance, and customer-focused mindset.
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach to service.
