What you will be doing

Your role in shaping the KOIA experience

 

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages and creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our guests.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, freddo, etc.) as well as other drinks (tea, hot chocolate, smoothies, fresh juices).
  • Manage and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area, complying with food safety standards.
  • Promote products through effective upselling strategies, contributing to the bar’s revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant and bar team to ensure seamless service and an exceptional guest experience.
  • Respond to guest requests and handle complaints professionally and efficiently.

We are looking for professionals with a passion for coffee who will enhance KOIA’s unique hospitality experience.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Barista, preferably in a 5-star hotel or high-end café.
  • Experience with alcoholic beverages and cocktails (considered an additional asset).
  • A degree in Hospitality or Tourism (preferred).
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
  • Proficiency in POS systems (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage customer interactions with professionalism.
  • Passion for quality, innovation, and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
